About Me:

I have been running Zara's Pet Sitting since 2013. I started off by helping a friend who needed their cats looking after while they were away. I was then recommended to another friend and from there the business started to expand.

I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats after working as a Kennel Manager and volunteering at a lovely little rescue for many years. I am full animal first aid trained and have experience administering medication if needed. I have kept a wide variety of pets myself, from dogs to rats, cats to rabbits and a few scaly lizards, particularly Bearded Dragons. 

My services are ideal for those who would prefer to keep thier pets at home for a number of reasons:

Shy, Nervous or Anxious Pets

Pets are usually happier, more content and less likely to be distressed by staying at home while you are away. If you have a particularly nervous, shy or anxious pet, the option of staying home maybe better for them. I care for a lot of cats that owners know wouldn’t cope well in a cattery environment, and by staying home, keeps the cat in their own home where they feel safe.

Cheaper

My service can be a lot cheaper than having your pet boarded away from home, especially if you have more than 1 pet. There is no limits on the number of pets. So if you have a couple of cute kitties, a hutch full of fluffy rabbits and the odd gerbil, reptile or bird, or all the above, this service can save you a lot of money.

House Security

During my visits I usually open and close curtains, pick up post and other tasks that will give the impression you are still home. You will have that extra reassurance that the house is safe while you’re away.

Less Hassle

Because your pets are at home, there’s no need to worry about running around, dropping off your pets before your holiday and picking them up after you return home to and from various catteries and boarding houses.
